Mark your calendars for Wednesday, May 24th from 1:00-1:45! Parents, grandparents, and special guests are welcome!
Our third graders are busy drafting and editing their Wax Museum biographies! We've written paragraphs with the headings: Introduction, Early Life, and Later Life & Accomplishments. We also have drafted a timeline of each person's life and a map of where they lived. All of these pieces will be on the final poster!
A few important notes:
- I will provide poster board and construction paper for posters. We will work on these in class. If students are able, they can print a picture of their person to include on their poster. Also, I'm looking for donations of sticker letters or Cricut cut letters to have names stand out on the posters.
- We will write our short speeches in class. Once speeches are finished, I will send a reminder home to help students practice their speech.
- Please help your child find a simple costume to wear at the Wax Museum. These do not have to be extravagant or cost any money. Use what you have at home and be creative :) :)
- I've attached some pictures of students' posters and costumes from years past!
