We wrapped up our Michigan History Unit with a fun filled Pioneer Day! We learned about how the early settlers came to Michigan on wagons or on the Erie Canal, I turned into a strict teacher from the late 1800's, and we even made our own butter! The students had a wonderful day of learning and excitement.
The Park Carnival is tomorrow, Saturday, March 5 from 11-3pm! Pop, popcorn, games, and prizes will add to the excitement of the day. The class is very excited and our raffle basket is filled with fun Disney themed items! Thank you for the donations to our class basket! You are able to purchase raffle tickets tomorrow in the gym for each of the classroom baskets. Please check out the Silent Auction in the Music room as well. Many wonderful items will go for all prices. Check out the trip to Craig's Cruisers with Mrs. Haagsma and a friend; you may want to bid on that item! |
